CoPIE II

During the current funding period of 11/2009 to 03/2012, CoPIE 2 is using the results of CoPIE. Several working groups have been established on:

• QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN START-UP SUPPORT
• ACCESS TO FINANCE
• INTEGRATED START-UP SUPPORT
• ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION

iq consult was authorized by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) to coordinate the Community of Practice (CoP) on quality management and has started its work in November 2009. The aim of this workgroup is to indentify the “best practice” within a European exchange in terms of start-up support, and to transfer those to interested regions. Furthermore, co-operating with CoPIE allows the regions to be involved in a transnational exchange and offers them the opportunity to learn from each other. iq consult coordinates this exchange and supports interested regions in implementing quality management procedures.

What is iq consult doing within its mandate?

iq consult coordinates the activities of the CoP QM:

• Build-up a workgroup with representatives from interested regions.
• Exchange on regional diversities
• Exchange on existing quality assuring – and training procedures
• To support the partner regions in implementing quality assuring systems and training modules.
• To constitute a European pool of experts (involvement when needed).
• To distribute the results.

What is the aim of the CoP Quality management?

The aim of the CoP QM is to support interested regions in developing high quality support offers for all potential start-ups.

• On the basis of a research that considers relevant topics

• iq consult recommends and supports the transfer of existing quality assuring – and training procedures

• to qualitatively secure existing support offers in implementation-regions in order to provide a basis for the constant improvement of support offers.
